Choirs

Madrigals

This is our beginner’s women’s Chorus for all grades. This choir will perform in all major concerts and will compete in UIL Concert & Sight Reading Contest. Students are highly encouraged to participate in the All-State process, the yearly musical, and perform at Solo & Ensemble contest.

No audition is necessary to enroll in this ensemble.

Knightingales

This is our non-varsity women’s chorus, for 10th – 12th grade. This choir will perform in all major concerts and may have other performance obligations through the year. Students encouraged to participate in at least one of the following events: All-State Choir auditions, the yearly musical, or Solo & Ensemble contest.

Audition and Director approval is required for this ensemble.

Troubadours

This is our premier small mixed chorus, made up of 10th-12th grade students by audition. Dual enrollment in Village Voices is required of all Troubadours. These students are considered to be good-will ambassadors for our school and will have many additional performance responsibilities (e.g. singing the National Anthem before sporting events, additional concerts, competing at festival contests, etc.). A very high level of commitment is required of students chosen to participate in this group.

Audition and Director approval is required for this ensemble.
